White Clouds World EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Discover the world of New Zealand’s sci-fi and fantasy illustrators, designers and conceptual artists. The work of these internationally acclaimed artists often goes unrecognised, but this exhibition provides an opportunity to celebrate their extraordinar

White Cloud Worlds features the work of artists who have been involved in such projects as Lord of The Rings, Avatar, Wizards of the Coast and Marvel Comics. The exhibition includes sketches, concept drawings, finished prints, sculpture and oil on canvas work.
(Suitable for Year 4 -13 students)

Education session includes clay modeling a sci –fi character.
$2 per student

Investigate and consider the relationship between the production of artworks and their contexts and influences (Level 5)


English Exploring Language Explore characters created by authors and identify personality traits. Apply these ideas to their own characters using language skills identified to convey these traits.
