Mar Pacifico! Barry Dabb
Date: Sunday, October 11, 2009
Time: 2.00pm
Dabb questions stereotypical images of tranquility, posing challenges to popular ‘romantic’ perceptions.
Dabb has a long-held fascination with the Pacific. He traces a story from the 16th century when Ferdinand Magellan first saw the calm and peaceful waters of the planet’s greatest ocean – and named it Mar Pacifico.
