Lecture. During the 1960s and 1970s American-born Shari Cole with photographer husband Don lived for nine years in American Samoa. During that time Shari developed a passionate interest in Pacific weaving, learning time-honoured skills and melding them with her own distinctive creations. Shari explains her long-standing affection for the Pacific and its people, and Don shares a selection of his Pacific images.
