Prices in New Zealand Dollars

All prices shown on Rotorua Museum’s website are in New Zealand dollars. The price advertised may not be the same as the price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations.

This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to convert your purchase into New Zealand dollars at the bank exchange rate on the day it is processed.

Shipping

All quoted international shipping costs are for express service.

Please note that shipping costs are subject to change. Rotorua Museum will contact you if the shipping costs differ from the prices quoted on the website.

Returns Policy

Rotorua Museum aims to ensure that you are delighted with your purchase and the service you receive. However if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we can offer you a full refund or a replacement item. Just return the item to us within 30 days of receiving it.

Unless the item is faulty or damaged the refund will NOT include shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original condition with no signs of wear and the refund will only be processed once the item has been checked by Rotorua Museum.

Returning an Item

Please follow the instructions below when returning an item:

If we have made a mistake when processing your order, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will give you instructions on how to proceed.
Any item delivered to the customer in a defective or damaged condition and reported to us within 30 days of receiving the item can be returned or exchanged for an item of similar value at no cost to the customer. If you do receive damaged or defective goods, please report it to us via telephone, fax or email and we will help you through the process.
Returns are not accepted due to a change of mind, so please choose carefully.
You must obtain prior approval from Rotorua Museum before returning an item. Please contact us by email, fax or telephone, explain the issues and we will give you further instructions.
Items returned must be unused and in their original condition. Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you. This includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning the goods.
Please ensure all returns sent to Rotorua Museum are sent with tracking and/or insurance as Rotorua Museum cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
If your return is because the item is defective, damaged or the incorrect product, shipping costs will be refunded.

Exchanges

If a product is unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one (i.e. a different size or colour etc) or another product of the same value. Please note products returned or exchanged must be in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels must be returned with the item. Exchanges are not available on CD’s, DVD’s, or software, except where the product is deemed faulty. The customer will be responsible for the payment of all packaging and delivery charges.

Credit cards

A trusted third party Eftpos NZ Ltd in agreement with Rotorua Museum provides a secure credit card payment gateway (ANZ eGate™) for Rotorua Museum online shopping credit card payments.  Once any goods listed on the Rotorua Museum website are selected customers are redirected to the ANZ eGate™ secure payment page to enter their credit card details. All credit card transaction details are stored on the ANZs secure environment and Rotorua Museum does not have access to the customers full credit card details.

Rotorua Museum will appear on your cardholder statements.
