The earthquake on 14 November 2016 caused significant damage to the central part of the Bath House building in which Rotorua Museum is housed.
The Museum and Museum Café is currently closed to the public while a detailed earthquake assessment is completed.
If you need to refuel during your visit to the museum, the Museum Café is sure to have something to satisfy your hunger.
Overlooking Government Gardens, the fully licensed café is a great place to enjoy a delicious coffee, a relaxing lunch or a fresh and tasty snack.
