Technology Programmes

We are pleased to offer exciting programmes using technology. Details can be found here under the technology tab

Schools are able to book in for fun, engaging programmes aligned to the technology curriculum.

Programmes typically run from one to one and a half hours and are lead by one of our education team. Full lesson outlines, RAMS and handy hints on visiting the library are included.

Makerspace
Makerspace

Designed to occupy 450m2 on the second floor of Te Aka Mauri, this dedicated space is planned to be the epicentre for prototyping, entrepreneurship and leading learning that takes our community forward towards a prosperous future and where young people will find encouragement for creativity and innovation.

The Makerspace has been made possible thanks to our Founding Resource Funder BayTrust and our Programmes Partner Unison.




iMac Computer Suite

This suite enables us to provide more programmes and an increased and improved range of technology and creative software.
