With more than 80 artworks and interactive replicas, Da Vinci Machines & Robots is a fantastic exhibition of creations and concepts devised more than 500 years ago by the brilliant scientist, inventor and artist Leonardo da Vinci.

Students will be invited to touch and handle the models to gain a hands-on appreciation of how they work. Interactive displays and objects will be accompanied by illustrative panels featuring da Vinci’s drawings and explanations.

In our specially planned education programmes students can learn about the designs of the original Renaissance Man, see Da Vinci’s plans for a bicycle, hang glider, helicopter, a mechanical lion and the incredible robot drummer!

Reproductions of some of Da Vinci's greatest paintings will also be on display, enabling students to further appreciate the breadth of talent of one of the world’s greatest ever genius’.

Da Vinci Machines & Robots is a touring exhibition developed by Artisans of Florence and is on loan from the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci in Florence, Italy.
