Friends of the Museum AGM & Talk by Paul Ingram, Lee Bros
Date: Tuesday, 30 September 2025Venue: Te Rūnanga Tea House, Government Gardens
Time: 5:30pm
Join Friends of Rotorua Museum for a snappy AGM followed by a slideshow and talk by Paul Ingram of Lee Bros, a local business undertaking all the heritage joinery work in the Rotorua Bath House (Museum) rebuild.
Lee Bros is excited about being involved in the heritage building project. They have recently painstakingly removed the staircases from the foyer and catalogued every single piece of timber so that they can all be returned to exactly the same position when the stairs are re-constructed.
If you attended the Friends talk in August, you may remember heritage architect, Brent gleefully expressing his disappointment at, self-proclaimed ‘hands on’ Lee Bros director, Paul Ingram’s proud claim that the stairs won’t creak anymore!
